Best Cranberry Sauce
This Best Cranberry Sauce recipe is the perfect combination of sweet cranberry with a hint of cinnamon and orange.
So it begins, with the cold weather, cozy days spent inside, and the extra blankets placed on the bed for those extra cold mornings. Winter is a time for coziness and for rest. It a time to slow down. With any change of the season, the change in flavors, and what’s on our dinner tables. One of our favorite things to look forward to is these bright red cranberries that can’t be missed.
I normally toss a few bags into the cart and freeze extra for later in the season when they are gone. Mostly these cranberries are reserved for this Best Cranberry Sauce. Filled with much more flavor than those canned sauces.
I love making it as a side for the winter months since the cranberries are so readily available. This is the same cranberry sauce I use for this Shredded Chicken and Cranberry Sauce. It’s a delicious combination of both a sweet and savory style meal. Perfect for any winter night.
Why I Love This Recipe
The flavors and texture of this Best Cranberry Sauce blend well and make a great addition to the holiday table. The hint of orange and cinnamon pairs perfectly with the cranberries creating a flavorful cranberry sauce. This recipe is simple to put together and can be doubled easily. It is my go-to cranberry sauce recipe.
