Directions
In a double boiler (or bowl with sauce pot), combine the tallow with the raw cocoa butter until completely melted together. When melted, remove from the heat. Allow it to cool about 15 minutes. Add the coconut oil. Stir to combine. Place the bowl in the fridge to set.
This will only take a few minutes to do. Remove from the fridge when the mixture has set and is soft to the touch. Take the hand blender or mixer with the whip attachment and begin whipping until the tallow mixture is light and fluffy. This only takes about a minute or so. When whipped to a nice and fluffy consistency, it is ready. Transfer the body butter to a mason jar or a similar jar with a lid. Store in a cool dry place.
How To Use Whipped Tallow Body Butter
To use, you will only need a small amount. Remember, a little goes a long way. Rub it gently into the skin in a circular motion just as you would a regular lotion. It will absorb into the skin after a few minutes. I use this body butter daily on my hands, feet, arms, chest and face as it is safe to use every day and as needed.
